Patient Participation Group

The practice now has a patient participation group, this is now contractual obligation for the practice. At the moment, ours is a fairly informal group of volunteers who are planning to meet two to three times per year to discuss possible changes to improve the practice, health promotion and other topics.

Minutes from meetings will be published here after each meeting.

Any registered patient is free to attend. The group is independent of the practice but we are happy to support it.

This is not a forum for complaints, for details on our complaints procedure please see elsewhere on the website or phone the practice.

The Partners and Staff at Scorton would like to thank Melva Steckles and the Patient Participation Group for their very generous donation of 6 BP Monitors and 3 ‘AliveCore’ Monitors.  These will be used for the benefit of all our patients and are an excellent addition to the equipment we have at Scorton Medical Centre.
