Appointments

Making an appointment

The surgery is open from 8.30am until 6.00pm Monday – Friday. It is closed on weekends and bank holidays. We operate a mixture of urgent and pre-bookable appointments. Patients must book in advance for the booked surgeries.

The pressures on the NHS are well publicised and we endeavour not to waste appointments. Should you be unable to attend or change your mind about an appointment then it is important to let us know as soon as possible so that it can be offered to other patients.

Please note that for all telephone consultations (whether urgent or routine) the GP will call you three times.  If you do not answer any of the three calls, your appointment will be marked as ‘completed’ and you will need to arrange a further appointment.

Home visits

These are for the elderly, infirm and those who are genuinely too ill to come to the surgery.  These are not available where transport for the patient is the issue.  It is the responsibility of the patient to get to the surgery using family, friends, neighbours, public transport or taxis.

Please telephone before 10.30am if you require a visit.

Requests received after this may not be met.

Out of Hours: If you require a doctor outside of our working hours then please call 111 for non-emergency advice/to see a GP or 999 for an emergency.

Days and times of appointments may change due to bank holidays, annual leave and other commitments outside of the surgery at short notice.
